IMD Family Medical Clinic

Dr. Martin is a family doctor. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto in 1996, followed by her medical degree at Western University in London, Ontario in 2000 and her Family Medicine residency at the University of Toronto in 2002. She has been practicing for 17 years. She has worked in many parts of Canada. Her experience ranges from practicing remote medicine in Moose Factory, Ontario, to inner city care in the Vancouver area and CAMH in Toronto, to being the physician lead of a large primary care center in Calgary, Alberta. She has taught medical students and residents from the University of Toronto, Queens, and the University of Calgary, and as far away as Ireland. She enjoys practicing all aspects of family medicine, but has a particular interest in geriatrics, complex chronic disease management and mental health. She has completed her Master’s of Law (LLM) degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, in Toronto, with a specialization in Health Law. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
